UFC 93: Franklin vs. Henderson is an upcoming mixed martial arts event to be held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on January 17, 2009 at The O2, Dublin in Dublin, Ireland. It will be the UFC's first event in Dublin.
The main event will feature a light heavyweight bout between former UFC Middleweight Champion Rich Franklin and former PRIDE middleweight (205 lbs) and welterweight (183 lbs) Champion Dan Henderson. The winner of this fight will likely be the coach opposite Michael Bisping for the ninth season of The Ultimate Fighter. Also, the co-main event will feature a light heavyweight rematch between returning stars, Mauricio "Shogun" Rua, the PRIDE 2005 Middleweight Grand Prix winner, and the PRIDE 2000 Open Weight Grand Prix winner, UFC Hall of Famer and former heavyweight champion Mark Coleman.
