If you check very closely at Fedor's record his 1 loss was due to a stoppage because of a cut, he then had a rematch with that same guy and absolutely man handled him. Antonio "Minotauro" Nogueira UfC's Heavyweight champ a top world class jiu jitsu fighter has been beaten by Fedor twice. Now for those who say Randy Couture would stand no chance are also wrong. In MMA anything can happen a wrong decision or lack of decision making can lead to losses for the best of the fighters out there. However Fedor has World class Sambo , Wrestling and is Strong like a Bear. Being a fan of Fedor i can't think their is too many fighters out there that could beat him but their are matchups that could be intriguing. Point is Fedor is the best ever in his weight class, a class act and a joy to watch.

hey, i've got tons of respect for Randy, but did anyone else think he looked a little shocked after the fight? I'm not blaming him either, the ass whoppin Fedor gave out was like nothing i've seen before and i've seen all of Fedors fights.

The best thing about Fedor is his professionalism. I've never met the guy, but in every appearance he clearly shows 100% honor, dignity, and respect in and out of the ring. It would just be great if he could get down to Vegas and instill these values back into the industry. All these s**t-talkin', ego-strokin' promos are making young up and comers think that flashy prima donna is the way to be in the limelight. Makes me sick. remember all the jaw flappin back between Shamrock and Ortiz? My god....Have you ever heard Fedor declare himself as the best fighter in the world? Or even one of the best?
This win will lead to a lot more exposure for Fedor and thus increase his fan base exponentially until he is the most popular fighter in the states. I have been waiting for Fedors' american debut for a long time, I was shocked and disappointed to see Tim Sylvia was gonna' be the guy to fight him. He never had a chance, all he was allowed to do was throw two weak jabs and it was all said and done. Everything that makes the UFC so popular has so little to do with fighting the best. UFC is all about fame, exposure, hype, and filling Dana Whites' pockets. 1) Fedor won't sign into UFC junk b/c of Dana White's exclusive controlling bs contract, the pitiful wages UFC pays, and the fact that NO ONE controls Fedor or tells him he can't compete in a tournament somewhere.

2) He has won the Soviet Samba MMA Tournament (one of their National Sports) 14 of 16 times competing there.

3) He has held and defended the PRIDE world HW MMA belt for 5 straight years before finally leaving Pride undefeated b/c his contract was up and UFC bought Pride.

4) Those "UFC HW Champion's" that dominated the UFC, USED to be in Pride, and some left after getting their asses rocked BY Fedor Emelianenko, some more than once.

5) The TOP 10 MMA fighters include these guys, and only 3-4 more.. WHICH b/c of Dana White and the UFC BS contract (which Couture is away from soon and will be fighting Fedor), those 3-4 fighters that Fedor wants to fight, can't fight him. Yet.. but soon they will.

Antonio Nogueira got his face LITERALLY pounded the entire time for both fights. He was out punched, kicked, COUNTER PUNCHED & THROWN around the ring all 3 rounds. Anytime he tried to put a submission on Fedor, it was countered or easily gotten out of. Antonio Nogueira fights on his back, keeping his opponent at bay with his feet, sometimes NOT EVEN GETTING OFF THE MAT WHILE FEDOR IS ON HIS FEET!! It's quite sad. I'ld last at least 1 round wiggling around the ring on my back kicking my opponent like a little girl.. common.

Matt Lindland is a good fighter, but don't try and tell me an accidental rope grab (which was corrected by Fedor) lost the match for him. Matt Lindland still had 2 and half rounds left with Fedor when he lost. He lost to the 2nd submission and almost the first. Fedor is actually BETTER on his back then on top at times, it wouldn't have mattered.. . it would have ended in a submission win for Fedor.

Fedor also KNEW he was fighting out of his Weight Class and wasn't out to mash his face in or break something of his, only beat him. Fedor doesn't go around trying to hurt fighters, only win the match.

7) Fedor has fought every type of opponent around and won. Were not even listing the 14 of 16 Sambo Championship Tournament fights here. He fought Hong-Man Choi with 160 lbs & 1.5 ft advantage over Fedor (that's like an adult fighting a 14 year old) and won. Hong-Man Choi threw heavy hard bowling bowl sized punches to, look at Fedor's face after. Too fighting the best of the best with the MOST experience in the sport, and won.

I'm done. If your still tooting UFC is the best, Fedor hasn't fought blah blah crap.. Go back to glue huffing or whatever you do. Facts speak for themselves.

You Americans always complicate everything? Boxing WBA, WBC, WBO, IBF etc and MMA going the same way? Should have whoever top in each association as a semi-finalist and whoever wins the final is undisputed world champ?. from that point on the 4 top guys fight off for the right to challenge the top guy?. Can sweeten the pot by having money incentives for association that guy affiliated to. Fedor should be allowed to compete in his Sambo wrestling tournaments as its all part of his preparation as much as any training schedule?.
