Sure Chuck got knocked the f**k out, but Evens looked like s**t. Up until the last punch he looked like my wife, cowering to swat at spiders. At the end he celebrated like everything worked according to plan. Is it just me? I wasn't very impressed with either fighter.

Throughout Canada we all ordered the ppv and then.......Wham like a shot in the groin the whole live feed stopped, for everyone!! We all saw everything right up to touching the gloves. Wake up, rush down to laptop and............my biggest fear for Chuck....hands down as usuall..ko'd.

First of all that was a horrible fight. All it was boxing second rashad evans is my favorite fighter(i liked him when he was on the UFC ultimate fighter show) and i wasnt that impressed. All they did was sit and wait around. If rashad wants to win the title he better be good on the ground because just being good on your feet wont do you any good.

Looked like Rashad actually stood up to Chuck and won, go figure. I worked for Rampage, twice. I exploited Chuck's strength and weakness, his stand-up. He is not a technical striker, aka boxer at least, and as everyone else said his hands were down. I still think I'd take Chuck 6/10 times though in that matchup. If they do not give Rashad a title shot or at least Rampage a rematch it will be complete BS.

Fighters train to take advantage of their opponents mistake. Chuck has a predictable weakness and when he exposed it, Evans took advantage of the weakness. That is not luck, that is good coaching and good fighting.

Rampage knocked Chuck's ass out twice, in the UFC and in Pride. Rashad knocked him out with conviction. I can't see where this was a lucky shot, when Rashad was clearly using the jab to set up the right hook that missed it's mark several time before the Pwnage.

Wow, that fight was a big waste of f**king time. Rashad ran around the ring the whole first round and would have done the same the whole fight if it wasn't for that punch he landed. Chuck lost the fight but at least he wasn't running around like a little b***h.

jackson 2nd fight aginst liddell he used an MMA version of conventional boxers stance - orthodox.

i think i read that jackson had lots of such training leading up to that fight. evans is awesome so is liddell.

Remember this is Mix Martial Arts (Real fighting) not WWE. I don't think these guys are gonna risk getting seriously hurt just to put smiles on most ppl's face ( unless both fighters really hate each other ex: Ken Shamrock & Don Frye or Ortiz ). They're grateful that we paid to see them but the difference BWT us & them is that we go home in one piece. MMA is almost like chess. Evens know that Liddle is experience and could hold his own. So the game plan is to get to him mentally. MMA is not just about grounding & pounding, its also how you play your opponents. If any of you where in that ring with any of these guys who have years experience over you, what would you do?

you could clearly see that Evans "danced" in the ring b/c he know it harder to hit a moving target. Plus you have to respect Liddell's hands. He's not called the iceman for nothing. They had a couple of exchanges in the first round. More of a feel for what each other. Only a amateur will come out swinging only to end up KO'd in the first round. As for the KO punch he threw two faint right punch in Chuck's face and chuck reacted slowly to both. After Evans threw the second faint right Chuck tried to counter with an uppercut which was off target and a half second too late. It's not that his guard was down and just got hit. his Reaction time was off leaving him open to be KTFO.

I would say the KO was lucky. In the interview, Rashad admits to practicing the overhand right, but of his 12 wins, the majority of 'em went to the judges. His record would not indicate a fighter with heavy hands.

I know that it is disapointing that the great white hope (the UFC) is finally being exposed for what it is. Chuck to me was always overated. Rashad beat him at his own game (the counter strike). Evans has diffently improved as a fighter and needs to be given his props. He will eventually get knocked on his ass and all that show boaten s**t is goning to catch up with him.
