I"d like to see a title unification match between gomi and the winner of penn/florian.

Gomi has not won a big fight in years! The only semi big fight he was in Diaz stopped him with a umapallata! Penn or Florian are way out of his league!

Though the possiblity of unifying belts is in the FAR flung future, one day we may very well see a grande, unified belt for weight classes not unlike boxing. The issue currently is we have the 800 lb. gorrilla that is the UFC (and who is impossible to deal with regarding these kinds of issues), other staples that have been around awhile (like shooto and DREAM for instance), and flash in the pan organizations that come and go like soap bubbles. Perhaps one day when the existing organizations that are clear and are not going anywhere can sit down and come to some mutual terms (lawyers stop salivating), we may indeed have a unified title for weight classes. and everybody said "Amen"~Trika

Well a Penn vs Gomi would be great because both are far better then they were when they first fight. Gomi has been more accurate in his striking. and it was a gogoplata that Diaz caught Gomi with. Gomi last fight was Hayato Sakuri, he won by knock out. I haven't been watching Gomi's career since the demise of pride, due to the fact that I was heart broken. I still ant to see a Florian vs Sanchez rematch.
