i am a fan of Shane but i hope he realizes how much work he needs to do ... he has great power and he caught Gabe with it but one needs to understand that he did not prove anything other than what we all know that he has KO power. Regardless he needs to be in against the top dogs ... Mir, Noriega, Lessner and another fight against Gabe would not be such a bad idea - i have a feeling it might go a bit longer ... but he brings one thing to all fights that can dramatically offset his lack of experience ... the Bomb!

this time not the best fighter won, gonzaga kick the carwin's ass all the time but carwin has a big hammer inside the gloves and finish the fight with only one punch. bad luck for gonzaga and carwin must work a lot if he wants to dominate the HW division

shane carwin won because he was the better fighter , everyone gets caught but bouncing back from getting caught is hard to do. he would beat gonzaga 9 out of 10 tens

Wow that only shows the power Shane Carwin have. He is a total beast. To drop a man as big Gabriel with just one punch shows that he really REALLY is as strong as a gorilla.

I thought when is the U.F.C going to stop sandbagging Gonzaga fights....well there you go...it was a gimme and and he still f**ked it up. The U.F.C is going to have a hard time convincing me that Gabe deserves more low level fights, but there's no in between. Tough luck Gabe...the brackets full...he's still a monster though. Your post here was grammatically correct, except for the spelling of fighters names you listed. But with a second look, it seems like they are goofy nicknames. Thats funny if thats what you are going for.

whatever happened, happened? gonzaga is still the better hands down. and thats what makes MMA so exciting, a lucky mo fo like carwin can get lucky with one punch. thats not to say he doesnt have power, he DOES, but still gonzaga is still the techn. the more skilled, and talented fighter.

you have striker/wrestler vs striker/jiu-jitsu fighter. it could've gone either way. now in his first fight in the ufc shane displayed his power, gonzaga displayed his power in his first fight as well. it could've gone either way. only incompetent mma fans call it luck. in striking it all matters, power, speed, timing, and a little luck. as a grappler maybe gabe had the edge, but he can stand and fight and you saw what happened. shane didn't get lucky he threw the punch it landed. there's no 99 out of 100 times, it only takes one shot.
