After being knocked out by Ray Mercer in ten seconds on Saturday night, more bad career news for the former UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia. Affliction VP Tom Atencio has decided that a scheduled Affliction 3 ‘Trilogy’ fight between Sylvia and Paul Buentello has to be put on hold.

“It’s his second knockout in a row, and I don’t want to take a chance on anything … The fight is less than 60 days away. [MMAFanhouse]”

Tim Syliva and his management must have known that this would be a possibility if he suffered any injury during his fight with Mercer.

how do you get knocked out by Ray Mercer? didn't KIMBO SLICE, the biggest joke in MMA beat Mercer? Not to mention ten seconds....what a joke. And where is Fedor in all of this? Still think he's over rated Dana, or do you just not want to pay the man what he deserves?
