Rashad Evans and Brazilian Thiago Silva (14-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) have verbally agreed to meet in the co-main event of UFC 108.

Rashad Evans was supposed to face his opposing coach in TUF 10, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, but one thing led to another, and now Rampage is "retired" and the dangerous Thiago Silva steps in for him.

The event is also rumored to be headlined by a middleweight title fight between Anderson Silva and Vitor Belfort.

He is definitely quicker on his feet, but Silva can still knock him out at any point. I think Rashad will elude the fluries, and chip away at him with jabs and leg kicks. Eventually when he smells blood he will go in. Now that is in a perfect world, but honestly who knows who will win.

good fight...very good match up...very good indeed...im thinkin this fight might go to distance...I can kinda imagine the fight already in my head...i say rashad might just take the win...but if hes gets too cocky again...hes gonna eat one and lights out...
