Tank is very unassuming and elusive. His beer gut throws a lot of people off but pound per pound his power reigns supreme. Andy Crisp and Feodor Gracie have called him the strongest mma fighter to date.

It does look like the guy took a dive but never the less, for some reason it's still kind of entertaining to see Tank in an Octagon. I did say KIND OF. He's been around forever, no matter how much he sucks and has always just been a bar room brawler, he's still an MMA legend. Very funny to see him still at it. Congrats on the win even if the other guy did take a flop.

Going through the posts I see a mention of Tank's power. I have never seen this firsthand, but legend has it that he (at least at one time) benched 600 lbs. However, bench-pressing is LONG way from MMA and without sufficient muscle endurance and cardio capacity, a 1 rep bench means nothing at the of the day~Trika

In a sanctioned fight with rules, those rules, when breached, result in consequences. Tank hit him in the back of the head. Whether he wanted to or not isn't the relevant point. The initial blow to the back of the head dropped the man and was followed up with a subsequent blow to the back of the head while he was on the ground. That is an observation that is accurate and does not reflect hatred. Rules are meant for fighter safety and when breached there are consequences. Somehow Tank circumvented those rules in this match. Regarding your off key remark about GSP, it was his cornerman and not GSP that has been investigated, and proper scrutiny has been applied by the athletic commision and UFC officials. GSP is limber, but not limber enough to put a small amount of vasoline on his upper back. Remember, rules are for fighter safety.

Let him gas himself in the first minute, then kick his arse! Mir destroyed Tan using this method. Although Tank was one of my Dad's fav, in the new world of MMA he is dead weight.
