oh buddy its called smart fighting even joe rogan called it in an interview before the fight, useally in a fight you AVOID getting hit, which is what machida did, that what his style is, and obvously he wooped Evans, and theres no if ands or buts about it, even rashad said he was a good fighter. The looser of the fight has better sportsmanship and attitude than you. If machida was " running " the whole time then he wouldnt have won. it seems as if you blacked out the same time Evans did, cause i dont think i saw machida take one hit, so it would only make logical sense that he is a good fighter. now i understand you probably lost your kids community college money betting in that fight, but common Man, Evans got his ass beaten, then handed to him with a bumper sticker on it that says " machida was here "

Anyways, Machida did it right he was agressively countering, Rampage did it to Chuck, put pressure to force them to make him fight. Rashad didn't look to cocky knocked out. That was A GREAT fight.

As for A Fedor fight, that'll never happen. Fedor won't even fight any ufc heavyweights, he'll never fight Machida. And if they do I believe Machida could win. Fedor is primarly a grappler in my opinion with a few good ko's. Machida can do it all as well but really strikes and move away. And Fedor's beaten people who couldn't hang with him any way, Like Hong Man Choi, Zulu and Kazuyshi Fujita. He fought Mirko and couldn't finish him. He's the master of ground and pound and all he did was lay in his guard. He couldn't finish Noqueira and he finished Tim Sylvia who was coming off a lost to Minotauro and who I believe didn't fight to win, but to fight for money, and the finish against Arlovski was good, but he was clearly losing due to the leg kick combonations and the pressure Arlovski put on him. Fedor is good not great.

Lyoto will be the camp for a while, I don't see anybody in 205 right now that can beat him outside of a lucky punch. He obviously won't go undefeated, nobody does, but I don't see anybody on the UFC scene right now who poses a real threat to him. He has embarrassed everybody he has fought.

What Machida's biggest strength in my opinion is the fact that he's not your traditional MMA fighter. He does the same training as in Muay Thai, Boxing, Jiu-jitsu. But he also train karate and sumo, that's impressive. And that to me is a real Martial Artist.

There is no question that Machita fights intelligently. Rashad could have knocked him out had the chance, but Machita completely neutralized his power and even turned it against him. This guy has such an allusive technique and is well ahead of the brawling breed who proceeded him.
