Montreal is full of a bunch of idiots. Anderson Silva put on a clinic against a top contender and one of the few oponents who most fans thought of actually having a chance pull off an upset.

I can't help but think that they were chanting GSP because they wan't him to step up and fight Silva. GSP is the man but Silva will kick his a$$. Be carefull for what you wish for Montreal.

Always good too see the master at work. But was hoping to see a knock out, oh well. I hope Anderson gets to beat up GSP one day... that'll stop the booing.

I understand silva was outmatched on the ground but he needed to step up like the champion he is and show everyone he isn't afraid to fight the ground game. maybe its just me but if you are the best of the best, you should be eager to put a hurtin' on the opposition instead of acting like he was too good to go to the ground.

why would he go to the ground when thats the only shot the other guys has at winning. If he can't get him down its completely stupid to just go there. Leites should have been working takedowns and you can't take silva down without eating a couple of punches. But people wanna blame silva get real. I wouldn't do much to impress a bunch of drunken Canadian idiots chanting GSP either.

Silva is still the best there is. It looked like an episode from Bully Beadown, he completly dominated and scared Thales the whole fight.

These Silva fights are starting to look like an eighth grader picking on a sixth grader during recess. It's clear that he is dominant in the 185 division, but if he wants to truly challenge himself, entertain the public, and be a money draw for the UFC, Light-Heavyweight fighting must be a part of his near future. If not, I would personally like to see him make good on his threat to retire at 35. Nothing is more exciting than to see two well matched fighters go for it and watch the fireworks. Conversely, nothing is more disappointing from a fight fan perspective than to see a lopsided fighting affair over and over again. I don't question Silva's skills, but I am questioning his heart. It takes courage to move up a weight class and declare war. Until that happens, he probably won't be a fan favorite or a large money draw~Trika

Hey JJenkins, I just thought if Silva is the greatest 'pound for pound' he wouldnt be afraid of the ground game. Are you saying Leites would own him on the ground? Are you saying Silva is one dimensional? After 4 rounds of nothing, give the fans what they want...a fight. Thats what all the other greats have done. I thought Silva was the best of the best but this fight may have revealed his lack of confidence or ability on the ground.
