Shogun hasnt beaten a top guy in years! Machida has beaten everyone out there! Did you see the Thiago Silva fight DAN DA! Silva is a Muay Thai Machine and Machida made him look silly! Shogun is fried! He will collapse within the first round even Dana White thinks so. Joe Rogan only gives him half a round. Machida will crush him and pulverize him so easily. Those of you who stick up for Shogun are losers!

at this point i believe machida's skills to be unrivalled and eventhough i do think he will beat rua. i am a firm believer in the expression "every dog has its day" you just never know, rua is not where he is for being a slouch either so i guess we'll just have to wait and see...

this is a great match up. i've seen what rua can do and he can do a lot of damage.machida has done well and will continue too cause there is no one that can be one sec ahead of him as far as strikes and movement. machida is my pic to win but it's not gonna be easy against rua. rua tends to surprise on his fights (ko of liddel) and i'm hoping he doesn't but whatever happens it's gonna be devastating. both are top picks in LH div for me

Of course Machida is the favorite. He dominates every single time he fights. But Shogun has ridiculous talent, even though he is not always in shape when he fights. I predict a much closer fight than most people are predicting. I can see it going either way, but I think Machida will win in rd 3.
