Sadly, Fedor must join the UFC and win the heavyweight title before all the talk will end. People can claim Fedor is the best all they want but until he destroys the UFC's best he can not and will not be considered the best.

he already beat minotaur, not once but twice, first for the tittle then second after fedor broke his thumb, when minotauro beat mirko cro cop. i saw the fedor vs cro cop fight and i forgot that the second round was when he laid in his guard the whole time but the first round mirko caught fedor with a couple of lefts and droped him it was agreat fight.

and he also beat mark coleman before he retired not once but twice both by armbar and that was after he got taken down, so against a technical wrestler he does fairly well.

people say he has to go to ufc to prove hes the best? Has to fight ufc fighters. He could quit right now and be considered the best heavyweight of all time without ever going to the ufc no questions. lets take a look at his record at just some of his 30 fights with 1 no contest loss. lesnar you cant even put him in the same catagory . Fedor is the best heavyweight of this era.

Fedor is a 100% class act. He is an exceptional fighter and a superb human being. That being said he will almost always have that over his opponents and will prove that he is worth the title of "pound for pound greatest fighter". i was a fan before, but this interview raises his regard with me. I think he will excel wherever he figts including the UFC. Barnett is tough as hell but there arent any fighters outside the UFC that will actually test Fedor to his limits. If he wants to be the best ever he has to wade into the talent rich pool of the UFC's heaveyweight division.

I am curious to know who besides the over-hyped Brock Lesner and the now old Randy Couture? There seems to be a huge experience gap in the UFC and do you really want to see Kane, Kongo, or Carwin fight Fedor so early in their careers? I also like Mir, but I don't give him a chance against Fedor. Is there someone I am missing besides Gabe or some has been?

afedor vs mirko rematch would be interesting. i think if they fought again fedor will press and mirko would use his hands a lot more it gave him some success in their first bout, who knows. I think frank mir posses problems for fedor as well as barnet. i also have to agree with powell, his humbleness makes him a respectable competior and worthy of pound for pound tittlt. that being said anderson silva has that same right. i still think if they met at 205 or a catch weight then all the questions between them will be answered.

Fedor not the best until he joins the ufc? lol. If you ask any UFC/WEC fighters in any weightclass who the BEST heavyweight fighter is, 99.9% will say Fedor, only ones would answer different would be Lesnar/Mir becuase they feel their on a "high horse"... what a joke.
