Comment above mine - if you look at one quote that Dana white said about this negotiation, you'd see that he Henderson was requesting a contract that would have made him the highest paid person in the UFC. Sure, Henderson's a great fighter, I love him, but do you honestly think he deserves to be the highest paid person in the UFC?

Besides, White is a great business person, despite your comment. Think about the UFC before he took over. Nobody at all knew about it. Look at what he transformed it into... To say he doesn't even know how to do business is a bit over the line.

i havent seen that but i just wouldnt believe a word from dana's mouth. that dude is full of crap...does nothing but try to cover his own ass...but if what he says is true...y would dan go to strikeforce? doesnt make any sense there...if money is what he wants...and accordingly to dana....he offered more than strikeforce can pay right? than y would he go to strikeforce? once you figure that out let me know aiite? cuhz that makes no sense at all.

Odds are he's using this Strikeforce deal as leverage to get more money out of the UFC - "Pay up or I'm walking" to get more money from them, and odds are while he's doing this he'll hype up his reasoning for switching to Strikeforce to make it seem like he's really leaving and make the UFC pay more to keep him. Also, I doubt Dana White would lie about something like that - why lie about something that Dan Henderson could just simply say "Dana's lying trying to make me look greedy" and run with that to really discredit Dana. He's not that stupid, he wouldn't make a lie that could f**k him up.
