Brock Lensar will defend his title against undefeated Shane Carwin at UFC 106 on Nov. 21 from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

Shane Carwin is fighting Brock Lesnar in a UFC heavyweight title battle at UFC 106, Fighters Only has been able to confirm.

Fighters Only has since been able to contact a well-placed source who has confirmed that the bout is “definitely” on.

The source also confirmed that Carwin has been pulled from a scheduled fight with Cain Velasquez at UFC 104.

Carwin, a NCAA division II champion wrestler, was to face Cain Velasquez at UFC 104, but instead will take on Lesnar and the winner will face Velasquez at a later date.

If this fight is true my money's on Carwin. He's just as big and strong and fast as Brock, with more experience.

i hate how ppl say this guys to old or this guy not in his prime, most fighters that we call the best of the best are between 29-38

Please Carwin take his belt.
I'm not a Brock fan.. But also not a hater. Brock can cause alot of problems for the best of them..

Carwin has all the tools to dismantle Lesnar! This is the fight i have been waiting for and wanted ever since Lesnar has joined the UFC! Other then him catching Randy all he has been able to do is out muscle his other opponents! He wont be able to out muscle Carwin! Carwin by stoppage due to ground and pound baby!

i really predicted this card would show up soon...but first, shane carwin is not as big a brock...are u kidding me? reality check here...brock is a monster. not somebody i admire but the man humongous! shane is big but not that big. LOL. Brock also has the bigger hands btw. second, for the fight itself...I really do think carwin can pull it off...as long as he doesnt let brock pin him down like he did with frank mir. also age isnt a factor in this fight. shane is only 2 years older than brock...we've seen a much bigger difference b4. i want shane carwin to win...but brock is a serious monster that shouldnt be toyed with...cuhz when he goes king kong on ur ass and pins u down with one arm and beats you down with the other you see nothing but stars.

Brock wears size 4XL gloves and Carwin wears size 5XL.

the only reason people mention the age issue is because Shane looks like he's late 30s. Age by association. He does look old though.

LET'S GO CARWIN!!! I really hope Shane wins. Velasquez is not to be taken litely though...Who ever wins this fight will have their hands full with Cain....No doubt.

Age shouldn't be a factor Randy started his career at 33 years old. Carwin is in his mid thrities as well, my opinion Velasquez should drop to 205 he's not that big for a heavyweight. But it doesn't seem to bother him non.

Cain is a good fighter but to small and not enough power for heavyweight! Carwin is almost as big as Brock 255-260 so he will have pretty similar strength leverage as Brock I think Cawin will finish him!

I like this one, they are both fairly inexperienced and in the UFC everything has been thrown out of the window lately. Cain looked sloppy in his last fight so I don't see the winner of this one really having much trouble with him.

Brock has won all his fights so far by outweighing his opposition by the equivalent of 2-3 weight classes, he lacks the experience and polish that the truly great champions have had. We've yet to see him fight someone his size and until we do he's nothing more than a super-heavyweight without a weight class to occupy.
