really, what a joke of a pay day. I really feel bad for the fighters that give thier bodies for such a low payday. UFC doesnt care that they'll have to be in and out of hospitals when their carrer is done.

Three things i notice missing
1. Lyoto didnt get a win bonus. What a lame excuse not to pay out money
2. No fight of the night, submission, nor KO of the night bonus paid out either. (Althought i dont remember seeing a KO that night)

Look, i don't think Machida won the fight but i don't think Shogun did much to win the fight either, both were too timid. Machida did not get a win bonus but...Anthony Johnson got a win bonus???? He didnt even make weight. Whether Machida deserved the win or not, at least he made weight and did everything fair. I love the UFC but it is becoming a joke.

Pat Barry got K.O of the night and fight of the night honors which banked him 134k Hardonk got 60k for fight of the night aswel!!! Rumble would of been the other candidate for K.O of the night if the moron would of cut those last 6 pounds. He could of had an extra 60k in his pocket im sure he wont ever miss weight again. Stefan Struve got Submission of the night so an xtra 60k for him aswell.

you gotta remember though guys they make alot of sponsors too. sponsors that sponsor the UFC its self..the money goes round and round basically what they get paid could be 2/3's of there pay day..i know its poor compared to boxings millions for bum fights, but life is like this aint it.

I always thought sponsor money help offset expenses for training and travel, especially for the lesser know fighters. Don't forget manager and trainer payouts and Uncle Sam takes 1/3 off of the top!
