looks like they finally showed Kimbo that he's not ready for a real fighter. He may have "ruled the internet" with backyard bare knucked brawls (that does say allot, he's one tough dude) but MMA is a whole different ball game. The fight he had tonight was with a decent MMA fighter and it didn't last 30 seconds. If Kimbo would work on all aspects of MMA and not just stand up, he'd be good. Really, his stand up isn't that good for MMA, just bare knuckle. Not rubbing it in, just glad it was televised for all those amatuers that thought Kimbo was the next big thing. I bet he won't even make it to the UFC. ExliteXC is about the only place he'll get to fight.

and as for only being in his 4th fight .. you can't really say that cas Brock Lesnar is only in his 4th MMA fight and it's against Randy Couture (which i think is a little pre-mature for Brock) but he's progressed his skills every fight he's been in .. unlike Kimbo coming out and looking for the quick knock out

why I'm glad Kimbo lost is because it shows that he needs to work alot harder before he can truly call himself a champ in MMA

but i do look forward to watching him progress now that he knows he's not invincible

How was that luck? Seth threw a punch, landed it(not even square), and knocked Kimbo down. There is no such thing as luck in a fight, they go in to hit each other and when they do it's because it landed plain and simple. Kimbo Sucks!

No offense to Elite XC fighters, but they all lack agility and stamina. You can tell a good fight compared to UFC and Elite XC, all elite xc fighters look sloppy and lack good agility during a fight. Most wins happened because of bad timing and bad coordination via punches. They slug it out as if it was a bar room fight. In the case of Kimbo vs Petruzelle, well Petruzelle had UFC experience, which gave him a 100 percent advantage. I used to say to myself that street fighting was more serious than rule inforced MMA fights, now i know i was a 100 percent wrong. MMA fights are 100 percent of the world?s most dangerous fights! UFC and DREAM/ex PRIDE fighters are the best in the world!!! BAR NONE!!!!! Elite XC does not compare to UFC and DREAM/former PRIDE fighters at all.

Guys not for nothing but elite fights arn't all that good, The 1st fight with Benji was so sloppy. I'm gld he won but it was awlful. Aloski(soy about the spelling) was the best fighter in the building and he dosn't belong to elite. Kimbo would lose to 90% of UFC heavy weights, Robbie would lose to over 50% of UFC Middle weights. We just whatched their welterweight and he's lose to at least 60% of ucf's.

kimbo slice is heavy handed and puts combonations well. seth petruzelli has some skill. a 10-7 record isn't that good in my books. there's no luck in mma. it starts standing then ends with a ko or submission. obviously he got caught thats what happens. he had alot of pressure being elite xc's poster boy and either he felt it or not it happens. you think it was luck wanderlei got caught by dan henerson, no it happens. but with thus loss kimbo being a beast, will learn more under one of the best heavyweights that ever lived, bas rutten and maybe he'll dominate the wec. so please shut the f**k up with that luck buls**t. when you train hard and get beat see if luck plays a factor.

Kimbo thought he could be an mma star and the true blooded mma fans new it wasn't going to happen without a lot of training, and he obviously needs a lot more. OK, Kimbo got caught right on the jaw and was basically out. I have heard a lot of early stoppage complaints too, as EliteXC seems to be infamous for on their free fight nights, but in this case Kimbo didn't even know where he was or who he was fighting when he tried to get up after it had been stopped. Seth is not a chump, a household name or top 10 fighter no, but I would not call him a chump. Now is it no wonder why really big fighters never called him out? As far as Ken, I think that Kimbo could have easily overwhelmed Ken with his initial attack where Seth back peddled, created space with a straight kick and let his hands fly.
