Can Brock Lesnar score a really big wins in MMA?

Yes Brock Lesnar is worth something in the MMA. He is soon going to be one of the best fighters in it. A couple of more fights your going to see what Lesnar is really about theres going to be nothing but victories out of him.

The Heavyweight division is weak as it is, but they didn't give Brock any "gimme's" to start out. Both UFC fights were against experienced fighters, and the "Texas CrazyHorse" looked like he was in the best shape of his UFC career last night. Lesnar had Mir in trouble until his inexperience in JuJitsu caught him. With a little more refinement, Lesnar will wear the belt. Let's face it, Dana could have cashed in on Lesnar's celebrity by giving him some easy fights (just like Elite giving Kimbo easy wins just to sell tickets and build a legend out of a YouTube freakshow...Colosus was a joke), but instead Lesnar is having to prove himself against tough oponents. Lesnar was tenacious last night. Usually, I am bore during heavy weight bouts.

We're talking about a world class athlete who has to cut weight to make the heavyweight division...the man is a monster (and not just weight, look at his reach...81" at 6'3" He knows how to train, whether or not he is coachable remains to be seen. Still there is no question that he has the potential.

I think his biggest weakness will be Jiu Jitsu...even a guy like Tim Silvia, who has way more experience, and trains in a top camp still struggles to protect himself from submissions. If he learns how to protect himself I think he can use his sheer size and strength to dominate the division...eventually.

Brock Lesnar WILL be a top heavyweight one day but he needs some fights under his belt and needs time to train to work on rounding out his game. I don't think he needs the Couture fight right now, if he loses again then he will in the same league as Kimbo, if he wins than he will be thrown to the sharks and get the cream of the crop of the heavyweight division and he can't handle that this early.
