I just love a guy who, although is the best in his class, doesn't get carried away...guess that's what makes him so (mentally) strong. I also endorse the conclusion: the best fighters are modest, focused and don't consider themselfs unbeatable.

Fedor is amazing but I think if he dropped and went down some classes he wouldnt do as well vs some of the others.

Fedor is not the best. We're talking about two guys in two different weight classes. Anderson is way too accurate for Fedor and Fedor's got a heavy ground game.

Anderson cleared his division out and destroyed a top 5 LHW. So as far as P4P goes for me Anderson takes that spot just cuz he can bounce from 2 weight divisions and take out top comp in both weight classes. Fedor does not fight enough to be top dog in my opinion.

When talking pound for pound it takes in consideration the different weight classes hence the name so what is being compared is the ability/effectiveness of the fighter and not the weight.
Anderson is great but do yourself a favour and have a look through Fedor's fights, the man is clearly a league above anyone he fights no matter the size, weight, style and should be given the respect as one of the world best fighters if not the best. It's hard to say if he will be able to keep it up but the man was and will be a king of kings when it comes to MMA.

Fedor would hand Anderson's head to him on a platter. Anderson would be toast if Fedor fought him.

Never said I have no respect for Fedor, it's just hard to call a fight that'll never happen. In MMA we could always assume what'll happen being biased to our favorites, but truth be told MMA is unpredictable. Look at the "upsets" in MMA as proof. If Fedor gets him to the ground he's destroy Anderson, But standing Anderson's punches are straight which is good for a puncher like Fedor. I'll give them the respect of greats but untill they fight we all call whoever pound for pound best.

Fedor needs to fight more thats the bottom line you cant hold the number 1 spot in mma fighting once every year and half. Not taking anything away from the man we all know hes a beast its just plain and simple facts.

I agree. He should fight more, but he does do a lot grappling and he bounces alot. Plus he is a business man, so with that it is a little demanding, but I absolutely agree he should fight more MMA fights to keep that title of pound for pound best. Anderson trys to fight at least three times a year for the UFC. I know he's fighting in early 2010 butn that's because of surgery.
