“The rankings, which will offer a definitive perspective of top MMA fighters across all weight-classes, will be released monthly and published in the Sports section of USA TODAY, online at USATODAY.com and on SB Nation’s MMA commentary and community blog, BloodyElbow.com … The USA TODAY/SB Nation Consensus MMA Rankings are compiled each month by Nate Wilcox and Richard Wade of BloodyElbow.com. Josh Barnett is second to Fedor in the Heavyweights? i dont think he should be ranked that high. Mir deserves to be higher rank than Barnett.

No way Quinton gets push back, Shogun 3 Rampage 2. he's better than before when they fist fought and I forgot about Paulo Fihlo and Demian Maia. Maia is probably 5-6 and Fihlo is below that or equal.

Koscheck is better than Jake Sheilds, no matter how long he trains muay thai, Koscheck is the better striker hands down.

I think Chuck is getting written off because he's retiring, he was top 5 for sure but I think they wrote him of for losing four of his last 5 with three knockouts, yes he beat wanderlei but that was one out of the top three guys he fought, Rampage, Shogun, Wanderlei. I was also surprised to see tyson and frankie not up there, but understandable of tyson he lost to sherk and frankie just won aganist sherk so...

i was also wrecked not to see Tyson and Frankie up there.

Tyson is my favorite fighter and i was upset not to see him in the top 10.

Question if this is going off who beat who, then Rashad fought one good guy and Forest beat two. Forest beat Rampage and Shogun, Rashad beat Chuck, who got K.O. by both those fighters so how is Rashad higher than any of them? I'm not Rashad fan, and yes he won the tittle from Forest but didn't he lose the title after one defense too?
